Excellent hotel with great brekfast provided at special rate of $5. Great location and safe area. Parking can be found on the street or paying a fee with the hotel. Very satisfied with the staff. If booking with a third party lije booking.com, be sure to take a picture of the selected room. If includes parking the hotel said they did not charged the money for parking. Is misleading. Everything else was perfect!

Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Waikiki – Great Value and Convenience! We had a fantastic experience at this hotel during our trip to Hawaii. The room was really nice – clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which was perfect since we never quite adjusted to Hawaii time and were heading to bed early (around 7-9 PM most nights!). The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the gentleman who checked us in – he was outstanding and made us feel welcome right away. Parking was a breeze, with easy options at the front or back of the hotel. The pool looked inviting (though we didn't get a chance to use it we went to the beach every single day), and we absolutely loved the on-site laundry facilities – such a handy perk for travelers! The location couldn't have been better. Everything was within walking distance – restaurants, shops, the beach, you name it. We walked everywhere and didn't need a car once we parked. For the quality and prime spot, the hotel was very well-priced – excellent value compared to others in the area. One small tip: There can sometimes be a line at check-in in the evenings, so plan a little extra time if arriving later. Also laundry is 10$ for 2 loads so grab it at check in and save yourself a little time. Overall, a quiet, convenient, and affordable gem. We'd definitely stay here again! Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, lovely experience. We booked on bookings.com (Shame on us, honestly, cause they always screw us over), so we didn't get the room we thought we booked. Bookings said the room had 2 beds even though the title was King room. We were confused at the time, but booked it since it said it had two beds. However, our room was in fact only one king bed. I called and they said a rollaway would be an extra charge, but then doubled back and gave us one for free. I really appreciated that kind gesture. The $5 breakfast is really an awesome deal. I mostly ate local food in Hawaii, so I didn't use this daily. But we did have breakfast on 1 of the days on site, and it was pretty good for the value! Our Bath/ shower drained incredibly slowly. So we'd have to wait 10-15 minutes between showers. Not the biggest deal, but you are standing in a small pool of your own shower water while you shower. The room was nicely sized. I appreciated the ample closet and drawer space. The mini fridge is a wonderful addition, too. There is an on-site mini-mart, which was reasonably priced. It's the perfect budget hotel for people wanting a clean bed but who don't need a million amenities (that you won't even use, cause you're exploring Hawaii!)

Catching up on this review from this past November. It was my first visit here. The hotel seems hidden in my opinion. My room was nice and the mattress was comfortable. I hadn't seen roll-up louvered windows in a minute. Friendly, courteous staff and a good rate. I found the location to be convenient as well. Also, the street noise is far less than the other inner-city hotels. Definitely recommend! Five Stars here. Maybe my next visit I'll try the breakfast here.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at the Pagoda hotel. The staff were accommodating, kind and sweet. The $5 breakfasts were delicious and sometimes better than the food we had outside. The location was convenient and in walking distance: • Walmart - 5 min • Don Quijonte - 5 min • Ala Moana Mall - 15 min • Ala Moana Beach - 20 min The parking lot is an actual lot in comparison to the hotel stays that I had been to before. We did encounter a couple of inconveniences but it didn’t ruin our stay at the hotel: • Summer renovations - one of the elevators being used by the construction crew during the weekday. • Key cards for the elevator and pool - sometimes the reader doesn’t recognize the card so you may need to try a couple of times for it to work. The highlight of our stay was the staffs recognizing us and giving us local treats on the house. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Honolulu, Oahu. Thank you the Pagoda staff for making our stay memorable!

If your looking for a great vacation in Hawaii and don't want to spend all of your budget on your hotel....then Pagoda is the hotel for you! This hotel is kinda of retro chic but very clean friendly and easy access. Has a nice selection of $5 breakfast. Close to Magic Island easily accessible to Wikiki Beach. Then you can spend your money on all the excursions. I will definitely be back!

I have had the great privilege of living on the Big Island of Hawaii for 16 years. I recently had to do to Oahu to have neurosurgery at Queen's Medical to remove a couple of aneurysms on my brain. Dr. Ferdinand Hui quite literally saved my life. He and the staff in the neurosurgery department were professional, caring, kind, warm, and Aloha. I was understandably terrified of having brain surgery. So were my friends and my 26 year-old daughter Lily who lives Maui with her boyfriend. Unfortunately, we lost Lily's father a couple of years ago, and she was terrified of something bad happening to me. Lily says that I am not "allowed to die" until I am 100, which means that I have to live for at least 38 more years. : ) My wonderful health care facility Hawaii Island Community Health made all of my travel arrangements, and my wonderful insurance company HMSA Quest paid for everything for which I am profoundly grateful. The surgery went really well, thank God. I feel really good and am looking forward to the future. I had never stayed at the Pagoda Hotel before, but when I return to Oahu in the future for fun, I will definitely stay at the Pagoda Hotel. Carlos and the rest of the front desk knew why I was there, and everyone was incredibly kind to me. The Pagoda Hotel is incredibly charm, and the staff is very Aloha. Thank you Pagoda Hotel staff for giving me moral support in a time of great need. I look forward to seeing you all in the future for fun. Until then... Mahalo, Kimber : )

Excellent service, breakfast is great. Pagoda Hotel has been my stay since forever for business and pleasure. Close to where I need to go; Walmart, Straub Benioff Medical Center , HMSA, McDonald’s, other restaurants in back of Walmart. However a beautifully renovated hotel.
